Academic Experience
Assistant Professor in the Responsible AI group of the Department of Information and Computing Sciences of Utrecht University.
I was postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Information and Computing Sciences of Utrecht University in the context of the Hybrid Intelligence 10-year gravitation programme funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science through the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), and involving 7 Dutch universities and partners such as Erasmus MC and TNO. Within the Hybrid Intelligence programme I was (and currently am) part of a special Taskforce, where I investigate methodologies and metrics for designing and evaluating Hybrid Intelligence systems.
As a postdoc at TU Delft, I conducted independent research in the field of social and socially assistive robotics. I focused on the following two projects funded by NWO, the Dutch National Science Funding Agency.
- Creative Social Robots with Evolutionary AI for Personalized Dementia Therapy
- Human-like norm-aware cognitive robots for autonomous interactions with humans

The student volunteer role involved a range of duties, including: technical assistance to speakers and attendees, monitoring session rooms, disseminating information at the registration, taking pictures, contributing to the overall smooth running of the conference functions and social events. I volunteered in the following international conferences:
Work History
Website development.
Some examples: teatrodaosta.it (2016), autoricambirossetto.it (2016), euroautomation.it (2015), pedrettigraniti.it (2014), rewis.it (2014), livioviano.it (2012), etc.
Teatro d'Aosta is a theater company dedicated for more than 40 years to theater for children and young people but also for adults. My work consisted in providing technical and decision support during both production and performing of theater shows. Among other things, I've actively contributed to the realization of the animated digital scenography of the Pippi Calzelunghe di Astrid Lindgren play.
